QuAMP is a biennial international conference on Quantum, Atomic, Molecular and Plasma Physics.

QuAMP 2017 will be held in Glasgow at the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel, from 4-7 September 2017.  The meeting will cover quantum information and technology, quantum optics, ultra-cold matter, the interaction of light with molecules and plasmas.  The format comprises plenary talks by invited speakers as well as some contributed talks and posters.

Bates Prize 2017

Nominations are invited from early career researchers for the 2017 Bates Prize. The prize is awarded in odd years to commemorate Sir David Bates FRS and his pioneering studies of atomic and molecular processes and their role in atomospheric science, plasma physics and astronomy. The winner will give a talk at the conference and will be accompanied by a prize of £500. Find out more.

Organised by the Institute of Physics Quantum Optics, Quantum Information and Quantum Control Group, Quantum Electronics and Photonics Group, Plasma Physics Group, Atomic and Molecular Interactions Group, Molecular Physics Group and Computational Physics Group
